Ex-clandestine agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his ex, Lenore (Famke Janssen), are getting a charge out of a compromise when Lenore is severely killed. Bryan is encircled for the wrongdoing and escapes, with the CIA, FBI and police all close behind. For the last time, he channels his fierceness and specific set of abilities into chasing down Lenore's genuine executioners, taking his vengeance and securing the one critical thing left in his life: his little girl, Kim (Maggie Grace).
